Cedars is a hospital that provides intensive mental health rehabilitation to 22 males with learning disabilities and other complex needs. There are 22 bedrooms with en-suites and large communal living spaces to encourage social interaction for the mentally and emotionally fragile. This project included demolition and waste removal and extensive external facility improvements.

Work undertaken in this construction project:

• Demolition of disused building.
• Removal of all hazardous waste, including asbestos removal.
• Restore integrity of retaining walls.
• Drainage survey and drainage works.
• Formation of 72 space car park.
• Supply and fitting of security fencing.
• Formation of external footpaths.
• Provision of shrubbery and full landscaping.

The demolition and removal of all hazardous waste was fully managed by Eclipse in compliance with all regulations and health and safety requirements and legislation.
