Acer Clinic is a locked rehabilitation service providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for men and women with complex mental health needs, challenging behaviour and personality disorders designed to provide a therapeutic environment, with a level of security matched to individual needs.  Acer Clinic has 2 houses, separated for males and females, containing 14 bedsits. This project included full internal refurbishment of both houses and general landscaping and improvement.

Work undertaken in this construction project:

• Full general upgrade to all bedsits.
• Installation of anti-ligature fittings including taps and door fixtures.
• Installation of a nail bar.
• Refurbishment of all ancillary services: medicine room, group therapy room, activity rooms, assisted bathroom, commercial kitchen, dining rooms, offices, meeting rooms and nurses stations.
• Installation of air conditioning.
• Full landscaping & car park improvement.
• Emergency test key lighting installation & certification.
• CCTV systems takeover, commission and certification.
• Intruder alarm system takeover and certification.
• Re program nurse call system to match new room layout.
• Internal decorations.
• Removal and relaying of all carpet and vinyl floor covering.

The extensive renovation of this care facility was project managed by Eclipse, using sub-contractors for specialist electrical certifications.
